A magnificent palace.
Nice contrast between the heavy decorations of the lower fllors, and the lighter ones on the last ones.
Most organic near the road-level, they become more like the Gribodi's houses in via Piffetti. It is quite sure that Gussoni co-worked and helped with the decorations. In fact it can remind of villa Scott, by Fenoglio, where also Gussoni helped design decorations. These organic-like decorations reminds me of Giger's works, and my friend of Sullivan's.

The name 'crescnt-shaped' house comes from the french word 'crescent' (growing) and it is referred o the moon, thus meansh half-moon shaped house.

By looking at the sketches for the house we notice small studios for artists (dormant-windows) on the roof. The were not accepted in the final project, but very similar ones can be found in the palace by Fernoglio in corso Galielo Ferraris.

This house is ideally mirrored (along corso Einaudi axis) in the Gamna house, by Frapolli, another 'crescent shaped house in Corso Galileo Ferraris (two blocks away), and sure this is no coincidence.

H.R.Giger is a swiss artist known for his works (drawings, paintings and sculptures) based on visions of fusion of organic, mechanical and technological entities. Perhaps his most famous work are the alien spaceship and the cerature of the movie Alien (Ridley Scott, 1977).

For another set of organic decorations pelease look at the house in via de Sonnaz by Fenoglio, where it is sure Gussoni co-worked.
